Where go the limit for when I being manipulated and exploited by any person or my friends?

Hello life coach

I have questions about an issue.

When and how do I know that a friend just uses me, and this is to only pull their own benefit of our close friendship?

I have a friend that I always stand by and help with a lot of different things, and I never requiring anything in return.

Often give up and shoot up my own things that I would have done, and for that I instead choose to stand up for my friend who asks for help.

Those few times I ask for something. So says my friend often that this is busy with some other important things and, therefore, can not help me.

My friend also says that one should and can not expect and demand nothing in return. And of those you really love and are even really near and dear friends. Is it really good and close and good friends, so require or expect you never to get anything back from them, and think you like this, you can never be disappointed with your friends, says my friend.

Is my friend right in what is said, or is it just a way to manipulate me, and to be able to use me to all possible things?

It is not always easy to tell if a friend using you or if the person is a true friend. However, there are certain situations or characteristics that affect how they relate to you is very special and that makes it easy to see through a negative friendship or when someone approaches with false intentions.

But here you have 4 different things that you can even transfer and check if your friend manipulates and exploits you.

They hear only when they need something

This is the basic property at a false or self-serving friendships; your friend hears only himself when he needs something from you. It can be very simple things; which lend a book or bussing person somewhere, but also more complicated situations, like t. ex. lend money.

To help your friends is a sign of love and care, but if you begin to notice that a person just come to you to ask for things, it may be time to put a limit or put an end to the situation.

They go out with friends without inviting you

It is quite natural to want to be our friends get to know each other and socialize on-one. But if someone who recently became a part of your circle of friends begins to go out with your friends without inviting you, and virtually hide this, it can be a warning sign.

It is important to be objective about this situation arises because it is sometimes easy to feel a bit threatened or jealous without any real basis. That is why it is recommended to analyze the situation very well before you take away from the person.

They use your personal information for their own benefit

A true friendship is sincere and not self-serving, but at times we need our friends' help. It may be that you need someone to listen, a service, or that they help you in certain situations. If you notice that your friend always refuses to help you, it is probably not a very sincere friendship.

This point is closely related to the first point, then it is very common in false friendship that the person always asks you for help or trying to take advantage of you, but disappear when you need something.

Far from all the people we meet in our lives has the intention to exploit us or bring us harm, but it is important to be alert to avoid being exploited by those who have such intentions.

Hi Richard

Your actions and behaviors reflect your values!

Your personal values, your own interpretation prevail, with memories, thoughts and feelings, logical intellect, your subconscious experiences! are several key components that affect how you act in different situations. What you perceive as an absolute truth / reality probably does not think others perceive it the same way!

Note
Your values are not static but may change depending on where you are in life. You can consciously change and prioritize among your values if you want to put more focus on values other!

Change of thinking

Becoming aware of how you think, when you think and why you think is important, it creates self-awareness. But it is also essential if you want to start a process of change for better mental and physical health:

Actively controlled thinking

You can choose to have a conscious active will-driven thinking, where you simply decide what you want to think in different situations. You can reprogram your thought patterns in various situations by thinking more constructive, more positive and think of self-esteem. You can then use the Visualization and mental training.

Let go of negative automatic thoughts
When the stresses of everyday life makes itself known or a too negative view of yourself and others dominate your sphere of thought it might be useful to use methods which you try to calm your thinking and learn to let go of these negative, often repeated thoughts, which destroys more than they help. You can use your mindfulness and CBT - cognitive behavioral therapy.

For a single diary of your thoughts life!

A first step to understanding yourself is to reflect on how your thoughts affect your daily life, basically every waking second. Test yourself and try to keep an internal log of how / what / why / when you think:

  • What causes the tanks?
  • What effect is reminiscent of your emotional state?
  • When the tanks affects the emotions?
  • When creating emotions in turn bodily reactions!
  • When the mind is influenced by your surroundings, the environment and the people you meet!
  • When thoughts are rational!
  • When and why new ideas are born from an internal reasoning!
  • When the tanks are repetitions of old negative thought patterns!
  • When the mind seems to only occur of themselves? -
  • there is a sense that lies behind batting
  • with direct impact and creates the idea?
  • How to control your health, your thoughts and feelings?

Self-reflection - changing the thought patterns!

A second step could be to start working more actively with your thoughts. In CBT - Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Visualization and Mental training is the understanding of how and why you think a certain way very central: You can use different methods as what suits you:

Consider your tanker

Try to consider the thoughts and feelings that arise in your mind objectively in different situations and times of the day. Try to be a detached observer of the thoughts and feelings that caught you. Do not go into them, but simply record what is going on.

Analyze your thoughts

Analyze your thoughts and the feelings they convey afterwards. Was there something in the environment that impacted? Did you get some physical reactions? Where thoughts and feelings good or bad, positive or negative, etc. Do you recognize the thoughts, the thoughts are recurrent, they occur in certain situations?

Transform your thoughts

Decide then if you want to change your thought patterns next time these thoughts occur. It may for example mean that you do not let the thoughts dominate you, but that you are prepared and try to make them die by itself as soon as they arise, by accepting them without letting them control you!

Control your thoughts fully aware

Ends aware constructive thought patterns in various situations involving you need to think, feel and attain. Be observant and predictive. Control your thoughts and feelings more consciously. Use your imagination, thought and feeling in harmony.

Sometimes it pops up just different feelings in my body, and sometimes I just do impulsive things without really knowing why I do them.

So I wonder in what order that our various emotions come from, and where our behavior arises from, and where they come from and more?

Your thoughts will always be ahead of your feelings, and before your actions!

When a specific feeling has taken hold within you, it must be born again to a new thought in a few minutes to persist!

Left and right brain - personality traits and thoughts

Individually we are considered to be controlled by the left and right brain very different, anything that affects our personality and our habitual thought patterns and emotional responses. Test: Fold your hands
Fold your hands and see which thumb you at the top!

If you show the qualities that express concern for others. You showing that you have chosen to live a life that is bigger than yourself!

And the qualities you need to strengthen such as reducing down your ego in favor of caring about others is:
  • Empathy, compassion, altruism, trust, generosity, love, compassion, forgiveness, gratitude are qualities in personality development, religion and spirituality cultivated highly appreciated, qualities that make you a proper man.
  • Selfishness, insensitivity, egocentricity, suspicion, greed, hatred, malice, unforgiveness, ungratefulness are qualities that you should process, narrowing down and try to leave behind.

Relationships that entertains and is rewarding to be positive!

Did you know that intimate partner who managed to keep through life using at least five times more loving and positive communication and emotional expression than negative! They often ask questions and show interest in their partner's life. Criticism should be constructive and well-intentioned. Thoughts, feelings and actions!

Thoughts are central in your life. Try to stop thinking! how long managed to your inner dialogue be quiet? a few seconds, maybe! When you think you will also see inner images as a result of your thoughts! example:

You think you want to take it calm and have a holiday! and suddenly in your mind, you see a red open sports car that you are traveling at the Summer Sweden! Your thoughts are first created images that in turn created sensations, feelings! which now produces physical reactions. You can now physically experience the smells, the wind and the heat of the sun in your body, despite everything it is only pure fiction from the beginning, a fantasy, which began with a thought!

You extend to you, and now go physically to the window to look out the window, to see if it's sunny outside, see if the summer is on the way! You open the balcony door to feel whether it's hot out and to feel the smells!

Your thoughts are first created images that in turn created feelings, sensations which in turn ultimately created DOCUMENTS (behavior) based on your inner experiences and associations!

If we follow the previous reasoning that our experiences, thoughts, thought patterns and emotional responses are stored in our inner (subconscious!) So we understand what spängkraft this may have on our everyday lives, and how it can affect our way of being and acting if we do it more consciously! There are scholars who argue that our thoughts and especially frequent patterns of thought strengthens certain neural pathways in the brain!

Imagine that your mind is a great computer! and that all your thoughts, feelings and experiences are stored in the hard drive of the computer memories. All the memories and experiences which are lying latent and you can pick them up if necessary, and you can also store new experiences there. The hard drive allows us symbolized as your memory bank, your experiences! The thoughts and thought patterns that you use are you thinking now as different documents in different applications that you choose to open on the desktop of your computer. Ie skills and experiences that you pick up from the hard drive (memory bank) in the internal memory on your computer. In the internal memory there are now applications and documents you have open in helfönster on your desktop that you are actively working with (deliberately), but also applications and documents that you have chosen to minimize as icons in the taskbar, but still available rapidly, in your mind (subconscious !). Now imagine that it is you who write and determine the contents of all the documents, and you can even choose which applications and documents should be open (conscious) or minimized (subconscious!) Your thoughts are therefore very important tools to create change. By paying attention to your emotional state can actually affect how optimistic and pessimistic you are, and want to be.

How thoughts arise, and why it pops up thoughts in our heads from not just empty?

How are we affected by our thoughts, really, and what force have our thoughts on us?

One who is thinking about this, and who wish to have an answer to this about our thoughts.

Thoughts may well so often only occur by itself, it may seem, suddenly strikes the just, for no reason!

All too often reflects the thinking old problems or fears of various kinds! Or you repeat the old beliefs and patterns. But how often do you actively engaged conscious thoughts!

Situations reminiscent of past memories can be the trigger. There also seems to be a thinking process that goes on within you, ready to be heard. Your thoughts in turn triggers the time the feelings of various kinds.

Are you in that case entirely disclosure to yourself but you can not control or influence your thoughts and feelings? No, here comes the interesting part in that by making you more consciously trying to experience and reflect on your thoughts and feelings, accept them and through different methods try to create new thought patterns, you can even consciously reshape and influence both your mind, your personality and ultimately your physical health, you can also affect your inner dialogue.

That you deliberately create newer for more constructive and positive thoughts, reflecting therefore in your inner and your outer. You make a kind of reprogramming you themselves how awful it may sound.

The tank inherent power!
The idea has a strong inherent power (energy) that are important to understand. We believe that we need to take responsibility for our thoughts as these often can seem to live their own lives within us, and do not have any function as long as we do not communicate them with the outside world. That the internal dialogue of constant thoughts affect our health as well as our mental well-being is now something that has attracted increasing attention. In modern psychotherapy, used methods that CBT - cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, examples of how this knowledge has been incorporated in health care.

In various religions, philosophies, different personality doctrines, sciences and modern psychology, the importance of the tanks impact on our health always existed and been central.

The idea is a creative force which if properly used can affect both your mental and physical health!

In psychology, it is recognized and accepted that you think often enough and believe and know within you finally become an accepted truth, a self-fulfilled prophecy! Valid for your thoughts, feelings, values and actions in different situations - be it negative or positive! A kind of inner brainwashing going on and taken hold and eventually take over us! Negative thoughts lose their power if you do not repeat them!

Did you know that when you think positively then the left front lobe of the brain active, the same place that is active during deep meditation! Do you think negative is rather higher anterior lobe of the brain active. Research has also shown that if you just think you do a physical motion that affects and activates the same brain cells that are activated when you physically rehearse the movement, such as moving your fingers in a certain order on a piano! Fears!

How good are you just being here and now, in the moment? Thoughts and memories creates feelings! And the negative feelings of guilt and fear can be so prominent in your life that they gain the upper hand, which can mean that you feel guilty about the past (your memories) and anxiety and fear of what is to come in the future! Ie you lose the ability to live here and now, which is not good for your psyche and your health in the long run!

Anxiety is often due to negative emotional memories automated and which becomes active in certain situations / contexts, and a fear of the future.

Dependencies!

Addictions such as alcohol, drugs, mental health problems, with eating disorders, negative thoughts, of emotions, etc. sets itself not only as fuel but can sit requesting body clean physically, even perhaps as cell desires? It has been found that different receptors receiving signal substances of different kinds, for example drugs and respond to specific receptors in the body. At an increased abuse of any kind to answer these receptors worse after a long addiction with the result that you often have to increase the dose of addiction to feel the same satisfactions! Much like insulin resistance can work for diabetes type 2, though it is the abuse and addictions is about bad requests / habits instead that affects the body's functionality. That's probably why it's so hard to stop the abuse, and makes it difficult in the beginning, for example in cigarette smoking! All your organs and cells using biochemical processes to communicate and operate. Your endocrine system uses biochemical processes, and hormones is something that is central to the body and you can influence through both diet and nutrition, physical exercise, physical purification and mental and physical health. Nervous System

How can I find a inner peace in me and with my self, and at my life?

Hi coach

I realize that I have to start over and I need to find myself. Would like to go into myself and become enlightened, feel the spirit or God in me or just ... well, find peace and find myself. How should I do?

Should I eat something special? Know that many Buddhists eat very little and fast to find its interior. I want to learn to meditate but how do I start? Should I go for long walks in nature or visit a church to find the soul or?

I need your advice! How will I become calm, feeling good, travel within myself and feel the community with the world? All tips are welcome but I'm already a bit inside the meditation and yoga, I think. Something that also gives me energy! Should I surround myself of plants, incense and stones?

You can be whatever you requires you to be!

Many believe that change is impossible, others take it for granted. Life shapes us through the years so arises easily stagnation so well thought action. We believe we often know best, but see everything as more often than not with clear eyes on ourselves. However, we are very quick to find flaws in others. Self-reflection becomes scarce.

If we are to improve our physical condition as this is done preferably by that we start exercising regularly and methodically. In the long term so improved our results and we must take advantage of our personal commitment. Why should it be different with our personal inner development, of course, we can use similar methods to achieve mental and physical health! But this is often our eternal self-defense in which says to us that it is either not possible or that nothing should be done!

Somewhere calling hopefully finally a warning bell that makes us awake and with a self-reflective smile might be able to laugh at ourselves, our personal problems, our shortcomings ... this might actually be a good start for change.

Why not come to self-awareness and courage to let go and start physical exercise your senses in the same way as you exercise your muscles and your body!

Mental health - to see the whole picture!

As a human, you have a free will to choose! You can choose how you deal with certain situations that occur, if you should interpret these positive, neutral or negative, if you want to expose yourself to them again or not! In the same way it is with how you look at yourself! You can actually choose whether you want to create confidence in yourself, create self-love and build a good self-esteem, or if you want to see more of yourself based on all the problems that you experience and that creates restrictions in your personality.

Several factors have been shown to affect your mental health: good diet and nutrition, and active physical exercise affects how you feel and indirectly your psyche, this is scientifically proven! Diseases also affect your psyche. Many spiritual and religious traditions also believe that we consist of a deeper form of I of more eternal nature (the divine nature). 8 tips on how you can deal with performance anxiety easy

  • Write down a small list of what you are most pleased with in yourself.
  • Take for you when others give you praise or say positive things about you.
  • Ask yourself every day: What did I do today that I can feel satisfied with?
  • If you think negative thoughts: Stop and think if they can look at things from another more positive point of view.
  • Do not compare yourself with others. We are all different good at different things. I have performance anxiety, and what can I do about it?

I have all my life been difficult to perform when I feel I have expectations of me, both from others and myself. Therefore, my background has become very jittery.

I can handle most situations well and gets good reviews from the environment, good grades from school and employers, etc., but I always come to a point where I feel that it is becoming increasingly difficult to feel that what I do is good enough and everything feels overwhelming. The feelings do I become paralyzed, I can no longer perform that I ever managed. I begin to think illogically can not draw the right conclusions, feeling totally ignorant. Since I do not take me past this will I have, to survive with honor intact, to change tracks in life, to start over. But the older I get the whole thing becomes increasingly difficult.

Now I stand for the second time in my life with a nearly completed training and can not handle the last moment, despite all earlier gone great and I always been among the best in class. Furthermore, I am newly married and are afraid this will ruin our relationship and our life together. Since I have no income right now, I can not pay for an expensive treatment with a psychologist. Performance anxiety is fear of failure or fear that you should not fail to live up to their own or others' expectations. It does not count as a psychiatric diagnosis, but one can still feel mentally bad if you have performance anxiety.

When you have performance anxiety you feel afraid to be reviewed and assessed and then being caught by not being good enough. You feel too afraid of being humiliated if it would happen.

Performance anxiety is a feeling and is very rarely linked to the one actually performs. There are few who actually perform worse for their performance anxiety. It's usually about how you yourself perceive and evaluate their performance. Man stuck in negative thinking, rehashing and disparage the achievement gained and find it difficult to feel happy and proud of what you do. A person who has performance anxiety often sets high standards for himself and his accomplishments. Many are perfectionists.

Situations when you can have performance anxiety may include:
  • Before the tests or presentations in schools
  • When writing an essay or similar
